Sleepless in Orlando

The clock on the microwave in our room flashes the all consuming reminder that we're no longer down-under... 3:45...3:45...3:46... After to two back-to-back flights of considerable length, I wake red-eyed, but full of life... You see jet-lag is a funny thing... On one hand you hate it knowing that the forthcoming day will bring with it a full load, as well as it's fair share of energy-zapping moments, and that you have definitely NOT caught enough Zzzzz's to fill the quota... But on the other hand, no-one's up yet, and you can't help but feel that the world is your oyster...

My wife is still in a time-change induced coma, so there's only one thing to do... Grab the camera and document the first few moments of the second-leg of our North America tour and spiritually, mentally and physically prepare for all that next two (and a bit) weeks will bring... Stretch, gym, eat, pray, read and admire creation... This morning's sky alone was worth waking up for...

Last night's room service that is still sitting outside our room like an ever-faithful guard dog is a reminder of the lack of sleep... But the day has already begun, and who wants to waste it complaining...? To all the people who will be joining us on the various stops of this leg we say "come prepared.." We're expectant and ready for God to do something new...

New day, new songs, new things to discover...

I wanted to go to the Orlando concert so badly. Finances would not allow me to. Your music, has helped me through a very tramatic 3 years. Separation, loneliness, move, singleness, starting over.. God has spoken to me through your words. Thank you for the life you live and the words that you speak in song. God bless you. I hope to see you next time you are in thia area. I must admit, that I was so disappointed that I could not go. So disappointed. But, God is good. Thank you for your encouraging and uplifting music.

My son and I so enjoyed your concert last night in Alpharetta! A powerful time of terrific music, prayer, worship, learning and brotherhood. You all are blessing, and so talented. My prayer is for God to continue to richly bless you all and use you to spread His Word and His Love.

I was at that concert in Maryland too! Wasn't it amazing? I am convinced that what we experienced that night is what heaven is going to be like! We got to see a glimps of heaven! Praise the Lord! :)

Wow....inspiring. While your exhausted from travel and a bagillion miles away from Home, those of us that are home, feel the same sense of "insomnia". Sleep deprived, tired, nontheless, i'd give anything to be traveling the world playing music for God. Instead, a typical Thursday in Miami, Fl. Surgery, School, and home. Boring !

I'm so excited that you're coming to Michigan. Gathered the troups, bought the tickets, and we'll see you at Resurrection Life Church in Grandville on June 8th. Can't wait to worship our Great & Mighty Savior with you! Whoo-hoo!!!

Hi - I'm Dawn, from Bangkok Thailand. I've been going to College in Orlando so I got to worship with you guys on Tuesday night and just wanted to say it was a great blessing to have experienced that. It's been a dream of mine for a while, to see and hear your team live. I was a worship leader myself (with the youth group) back home and we sang a lot of your songs.

Orlando was amazing, nothing less of what I expected. As I watch everyone join together for worhipping God, I say to myself this is a small taste of what Heaven is going to look like as we all gather to sing unto the King. I was wondering who your other female lead singer is other than Brook and what is the name of the song which she led. It was beautiful and one of our worship team girls is wanting to sing it in our church. You help would be greatly appreciated. Looking forward to my next Hillsong live event.
